Welcome to Washta Bay Siberians Washta Bay is a small, home based Siberian breeding program committed to kittens with excellent type, health and temperament. Our cats were carefully selected from the top catteries in Russia, from World and European Champion lines -- the highest show titles awarded to adult cats in the World Cat Federation (WCF) and Federation Internationale Feline (FIFe).

We keep our cattery small with only the best cats to ensure the best health and socialization of our cats and kittens. Washta Bay is a traditional Siberian cat breeder, and all of our kittens have a consistent "wild" look to them. Our cats were chosen not only because of their health, personalities and excellent lineage, but because genetically, we only will have brown tabbies, which to me is the best looking cat I've ever seen.
In addition to being from excellent lineage, our cats have personality plus which is definitely passed on to their kittens. An extraordinary amout of care is given to ensure that at the time our kittens are ready to go home to their forever families that they are gentle, happy and have been prepared the best we can for the wonderful lives we trust that you will provide to them.
Siberians do come in all colors, however, as mentioned above, you will find our cattery specializes in the brown tabby, a traditional :wild" look. You can see the development of our typical kitten from Junona on "Penny's Pages." We have many pictures of our past kittens on our Facebook page, both from when they were here with mom, and when they went to live with their furrever families.

Our two beautiful and exceptionally well-typed girls are both from the very well respected Sibaris cattery in Moscow. I couldnt be more pleased with the looks, health and personality of our mommies. Indigo, or wonderful big boy is from the equally well respected Fialka cattery in St. Petersburg and has been the father for all of our beautiful kittens.

ABOUT ME
I have loved cats my whole life, and, along with my younger sister, was always the first one out to the barn when the new kittens were born. I had to make sure they were all doing well and had plenty of play time with me, which socializes them extremely well. Although I dont agree with the term "hobby breeder" because every bit of my home life is devoted to my cats and our kittens. I just couldnt be happier raising the new babies for their forever families. Even as a young girl, I couldnt have a bigger smile on my face then when covered in kittens (I'm the one on the right).
We are a member of Taiga, the Siberian breed club. Our cats are registered and shown in CFA (the Cat Fanciers Association) and TICA (the International Cat Association).
