Junona is the Queen of Washta Bay and is in charge of this household in every way imaginable. She is a very well typed cat (meaning she conforms well to written breed standards), and is the most sweet, tender, loving cat - personality traits she passes on to her kittens. She really enjoys just hanging out with me and helping with whatever project I'm working on. She is an absolutely excellent mother and we are so proud that she is our Queen.

The picture to the left was taken of Junona as a kitten during the CFA International Show in 2008, where the "best of the best" kittens and cats are shown.  She won Best of Breed in one ring (wow!), and was overall the 3rd best Siberian kitten in a very competitive class.

Junona is very dominant in regards to coloring and type with her kittens.  Most will greatly resemble her beautiful, traditional brown tabby "wild" looks that we love so.

Look at how adorable she was as a kitten!  Who can't love that face?!  Even as a very young girl, you can see her excellent type - good strong boning, nice round face and profile and an exceptional muzzle.  This is always commented on during judges critiques at cat shows.

Junona's mother from the Sibaris Cattery in Moscow has been awarded the highest Champion honors of World Champion and European Champion - but what does "Distinguished Show Merit" mean?

The Distinguised Show Merit title from FIFe is very prestigious and not many cats have this honor.  The Distinguished Show Merit title means that Junona's beautiful mother has won the "Best in Show" title at least 10 times. That is no easy feat!
