LITTER BOXES
Your kitten will be litter trained by the time they come home to you.  So, what should you do to help ensure that there are minimal accidents during the kittens transition to your family? 

There are a wide variety of litter and litter boxes on the market for you to choose from that will best suit your family and living situation.  I change my boxes often, and my cats tend to be most drawn to the simple covered boxes that can be found at most pet and department stores. 

Junona's Tips:

• Unscented litter
• Large or extra large covered box - NO FLAP (for models that the flap comes with like the one pictured below, these can be easily taken off)
• There is a kitchen garbage bag or contractors bag or lawn/leaf bag that will fit about every sized litter box.  Buy those in bulk and it will save you at least one half price over the bags marketed specifically for litter boxes.
