PENNY'S PAGES

Kittens change so much from when they are born through adulthood, from size, looks, color, absolutely everything about them changes as they grow.  When our typical kitten (currently a traditional brown/black mackerel tabby) is born, they look almost black in color.  Their coat coloring will become lighter and patterns will become more defined as they mature. 

Penny's Pages was created to give you an idea about how quickly Siberian kittens change and grow into beautiful cats.  Dont miss her most recent pictures on page two.  Please note that this is the story of one individual kitten with high show quality potential.  Although she is representative of the kittens from our breeding program, we can not duplicate her, as much as we would like to!

Penny's parents are Junona and Indigo.  She lives with her forever family in Georgia. Penny is a well loved "sister" of a 2 year old boy and a 9 year old rescue cat that was in dire need of a friend and she gets along absolutely fabulous with both of them.  She has actually made a huge and very unexpected difference in some very aggressive behaviors the older cat has had for many years.  Along with her great personality, Penny is probably one of the best typed female kittens we have had so far.  We hope that she will be shown as an alter when she is older. 

In the picture below, Penny is snuggled in somewhere with her mom, brothers and sisters just a few days after birth.  In the second picture, they are a few weeks older - all just peas in a pod. 


 
       

The early days...  Penny was just as cute as a button while she was here with us.  This little lady knows how to relax!

 

        

Penny quickly found her new favorite resting spots on her first day in her new home. She is about 11 weeks old in this picture.



Penny's family was very concerned about the potential behavior of their 9 year old, extremely territorial and aggressive cat once she came to their home.  Even I was genuinely surprised at how well these two got along right from the start and could not imagine a match like this ever happening again!  His agressive behaviors have actually almost disappeared since she became part of the family.
